Conscious and Creative Movement

Movement Classes are designed to reconnect with our bodies in a playful and powerful way. They are suitable for anyone, regardless of age or physical condition, and are especially recommended for individuals with mobility challenges, tension, pain, or other physical discomforts; people who wish to regain their fitness at their own pace.

Over the course of 75 minutes, we will learn to release tensions, contractures, aches, and stiffness that our bodies have accumulated over time—the result of stress and family, social, or personal conditioning. Our goal is to reclaim the freedom of movement our bodies possessed at the age of five.

Sessions are held on a weekly basis. The exercises are designed to be easily integrated into your personal routine or as a warm-up prior to any performing practice.

This practice will help you maintain an agile, strong, and available body; activate presence and listening; broaden your perception of movement and space; and enjoy movement as a source of energy and creativity.

This proposal is open to professionals and students alike, as well as anyone interested in reconnecting with their bodythrough mindfulness and movement.

Please consult our agenda for information on the next session.

"An actor must know how to be in silence, how to listen, how to respond, and how to remain still. How to initiate a movement and how to follow it. And how, afterwards, to return to stillness and silence."

Jacques Copeau, Notes on the actor (1970)
