Movement Classes

Movement Classes are designed to reconnect with our bodies in a playful and powerful way. They are suitable for anyone, regardless of age or physical condition, and are especially recommended for individuals with mobility challenges, tension, pain, or other physical discomforts; people who wish to regain their fitness at their own pace.

 

Over the course of 75 minutes, we will learn to release tensions, contractures, aches, and stiffness that our bodies have accumulated over time—the result of stress and family, social, or personal conditioning. Our goal is to reclaim the freedom of movement our bodies possessed at the age of five.

Amb cada classe, el cos anirà recuperant la capacitat de moure’s per iniciativa pròpia (i no seguint les instruccions del cap). Això ens portarà molts beneficis, a priori, inimaginables. With each class, the body will begin to reclaim its agency—the ability to move on its own initiative rather than following the mind’s instructions. This will bring us numerous benefits that may initially seem unimaginable. We will begin to breathe more deeply and rediscover lightness in our gait, while simultaneously feeling the grounding weight of the body. We will experience better rest, greater mental clarity, and an improved capacity for decision-making... all of which will provide a sense of confidence, security, and poise that will grow as we learn to live more "in the body.”

 

These classes are accompanied by music and, while regular attendance is recommended, drop-in participation is also welcome.
