What is the meaning of life today, built upon relentless effort, driven toward infinite progress, and rooted in purely materialistic values such as wealth, possession, or aesthetics?
Oriol is an astrobiologist striving to grasp the meaning of life by searching for its existence on other planets. Eva is learning to navigate a relationship with her students in an educational environment far more hostile than the one she dreamed of leading as a young girl.Bru, their son, struggles to find balance between the different universes he inhabits: the imaginary one—filled with adventure and discovery—which he explores alongside his father on their intergalactic journeys; and the real world, where his mother insists on grounding him, a world of responsibilities, challenges, and the hardships of a life that no longer leaves room for curiosity or dreams.
An adventure that begins with a family crisis and transitions toward a global one, bringing to the forefront questions that should be part of a vital debate—one that allows us to question, reflect upon, and decide the social and technological ecosystem we want for ourselves and our children. It is a journey to the farthest reaches of the universe to understand the value of the important, simple, and everyday things that surround us.
